A properly mounted bumper not only provides additional protection from impacts to the rear of your RV, it also provides a strong, stable mounting platform for cargo accessories like bike racks and generator carriers.
Three Frame Extension Options to Better Meet Your Needs.
These beefy AddaBumper™ Frame Extension Brackets are fabricated from 3/8″ thick steel and bolt to your frame and then directly mate to the matching bolt pattern of the mounting brackets on our HEAVY-HAUL’R™ Aluminum Replacement Bumpers. Our 1AAUF Flat Plate Set bring the bumper out another four to six inches (4-6″) from where it would normally mount while our 1AAUFXL adds another four inches to that, for an eight to ten inches (8-10″) beyond the normal mounting point. If your RV’s body extends down below the vehicle’s frame, our 1AAUZM Z-Bracket Set bolts to your frame with a mounting area for the bumper that is below the bottom of the RV’s body. The 2″ x 2″ bolt patterns also mate up with each other, allowing a lot of options when mounting your bumper.
